Almost every notarial act requires physical attendance at the notaries office.
Almost every notarial act requires physical attendance at the notaries office.
Our Meeting:
A physical attendance is normally required as we are required by law to verify your identity and, more importantly, so that the documents you wish to be notarised can be appropriately witnessed.
Bring with you:
When you come to your appointment, please ensure that you bring:
Photographic ID, such as a passport or driving license
Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill, bank statement, or council tax bill.
Original copies of any document to be notarised or referred to in the notarial act.
Whilst a few jurisdictions allow ‘remote’ notarisation via video conferencing, this is currently against best practise guidelines provided by The Faculty Office, and is therefore not a service that we offer.
